HP 5900
I just purchase (2) 5900s switches and unable to figure out the following configuration.
Unlike 5800, the 5900 doesnt give me an option to make a port either bridge or route. There is no such command "Port Link-Mode"
How do I enable RIP MD5 Authentication. I looked into 5900 Layer 3 Manual but no information about authentication.
Thanks

Re: HP 5900
Hi,
the 5900 is shipping with the first release of comware7, which was still missing some features (like the ripv2 auth). The release 2207 should be available public in the near future (was scheduled for december I heard), and that version includes many updates, including the ripv2 md5 auth you are looking for.
I would recommend to keep an eye on the firmware page:
Best regards,Peter

Re: HP 5900
AFAIK the firmware is released, just not on the website.
If you call support they may give you a copy ahead of website release.
Cheers,
Dan
