After upgrade software on our IRF HP 7506 + 3Com S7906E with XFP-LX-SM1310 transcievers from 5.20.R6708P07 to 5.20.R6708P13 were discovered traffic problems.
In particular traffic over ten-gigabit ethernet adapters stopped going for some vlans and for other vlans were losses of traffic.
4 ten-gigabit links go to HP Virtual Connect FlexFabric for c-Class BladeSystem c7000, and other links to IRF HP A5500 and XRN 3Com 5500G-EI.
Seetings for some interfaces with troubles:
interface Ten-GigabitEthernet1/6/0/2
port link-mode bridge
description To VC1-C7000(X5)
port link-type hybrid
port hybrid vlan 1 200 231 to 232 240 255 257 261 to 264 tagged
stp edged-port enable
port link-aggregation group 10
interface Ten-GigabitEthernet1/2/0/1
port link-mode bridge
description To SPB-XRN-1901(TGE1/1/1)
port link-type trunk
port trunk permit vlan 1 to 254 257 to 4094
port link-aggregation group 5
After troubles were made downgrade on initial comware version 5.20.R6708P07

SolutionThere is a serious issue with R6708P13 in that it causes BAGG interfaces to be deselected after install and no traffic will pass. There are two options...
1) Install the hot patch R6708P13H01 and you should be fine
2) There is a new R6710P01 that should be available now. That should take care of this issue.
Looking at the My Networking Portal, it looks like the only choice you will have it R6710P01. If you need the other software, you'll need to open a support call and we can get the code to you.
Regards,
David

Re: HP 7506 + 3Com S7906E IRF Comware Upgrade from 5.20.R6708P07 to 5.20.R6708P13
Thanks.
I already upgraded to newest comware R6710P01 and all works fine, but it required double reboot, although the bootrom wasn't updated.

Re: HP 7506 + 3Com S7906E IRF Comware Upgrade from 5.20.R6708P07 to 5.20.R6708P13
Some additional information:
1) This issue IS fixed in R6710P01 but the description is slightly different. From the release notes this is the same issue that is addressed:
201508210239
Symptom: The task “LAGG” is suspended and packets are dropped at aggregation
Condition: Link-aggregation is configured and entire reboot the device
2) After Chinese New Year the R6708P13 release will be replaced with an updated distribution that includes the hot patch. If someone needs that particular version it will be available with the fix shortly. Our recommendation however would be to use the R6710P01 release if you can.
Regards,
David
