HP A3100 - NTP unsynchronized
Hi,
We installed a switch HP A 3100 on a branch site. This switch only has one interface Vlan in order to be manageable.
We wanted this branch switch to synchronize its clock with a server on the Main Site using NTP.
Branch site switch has the following IP adress : 10.31.7.251
Main Site NTP serveur IP adress : 10.31.248.11
We used on the branch switch the command : ntp-service unicast-server 10.31.248.11
This NTP server appears when we do : dis ntp-service sessions
However the clock is not synchronized when we do : dis ntp-service status
We can ping the NTP server from the branch switch.
We ran the command : debugging ntp-service all
Here is what we got :
*0.102842609 GPMA-OC-31BALMA-SW NTP/8/debug_NTP_packet_xmt:- 1 -
