Re: HPE A-MSR30-10Routers - 4G LTE USB modems are not supported
Hi Ramshankar,
A 3G/4G modem module operates either in PPP mode or Ethernet mode, but not at the same time. When operating in PPP mode, the modem module is managed in Cellular 0/0 interface view. When operating in Ethernet mode, the modem module is managed in Cellular-Ethernet 0/0 interface view. You can set the operating mode of a 3G/4G modem module by using the card-mode command
Syntax: card-mode slot slot-num { ppp | ethernet }
Recommendations:
1) As per the error message,'Error: Running a different mode with the modem'' try the other mode.
2) If still issue persists, try upgrading to the latest release R2516P13 as its fixes for known issues and feature enhancements, support for new hardware etc.
