I hope my answer is pointed what you need.

HP iMC can supports most of the devices and can shows you the alret, error, traffic status, respone time and so on  in your environment.

If you don't have any budget for buying iMC, you still can install Cacti which is free.

Except above, by simple monitor tool, you can use logging servers or AAA to get some information from your servers.

SNMP with MRTG also an option for you
