How to enable "portfast" on HP A5120-EI?

Hi

Is there a  "portfast" mode analogue on HP A5120-EI ? How to turn it on?

Yes, there is.

At interface context level you can execute the stp edged-port enable CLI command to let an interface be treated as an edge port by STP.

Directly from HPE 5120 EI Switch Series Layer 2 - LAN Switching Configuration Guide:

Parnassus, thanks for your reply!

Is it good idea to connect HP "edge-ports" to vmware esxi vswitch ports in "Route based on originating port ID" mode?

ESXi Vswitch0 settings:  Notify switches - YES,  Failback - Yes, Failback mode - Active Active (2 physical adapters)
