Hi,
i have a Problem with IRF Configuration on 4 5820.
In the first step, four 5820 switches can be connected in the ring together. There are always 2 switches per location. The ports 1-4 are for the connection of the stations and the ports 5-8 are for the connection of the two switches at a location. The switches are now numbered 1 to 4. The first two switches are in the IRF, but the 3rd and 4 Not entering IRF stack. The first switch I have configured.
Port Group 1/1 Port Group 2/2
TenGig 1/0/5 TenGig 2/0/5
TenGig 1/0/6 TenGig 2/0/6
TenGig 1/0/7 TenGig 2/0/7
TenGig 1/0/8 TenGig 2/0/8
Than
Port Group 2/1 Port Group 3/2
TenGig 2/0/1 TenGig 3/0/1
TenGig 2/0/2 TenGig 3/0/2
TenGig 2/0/3 TenGig 3/0/2
TenGig 2/0/4 TenGig 3/0/2
I have also tried instead of port group 3/2 with port group 3/1. Where is my fault?
Is that not correct with Port Group 1/1 -> 2/2, 2/1->3/2, 3/1->4/2, 4/1->1/2?

Re: IRF Configuration on 5820
I get no Error. The 2nd Switch is immediately after I plugged the cable reboots and got itself config and image from the master. The switch thinks he is master, but does not see any other switch. I wanted to configure a master with priority 32 and all others get the priority 1. What was funny is after I had changed the port group from 3/2 to 3/1. Is the second Switch already in the stack was rebooted.

Heh great. Didnt really see any error in what you pasted either. Maybe just some fluke.
