IRF Configurations for 5820 Switches

Just got my 2 HP 5820X 24XG switches, i want to create IRF on these 2 switches to be use by HP 2530 switches for up link 2 x 10G SFP ports for redundant connactions as well both ports to be on active state using LACP or Trunk.

See below the network layout which I want to achieve.

I have a IP surveliance camera vlan which I would like to keep on layer 2 so which is why I will use 5820 switches as a distribution switch.

The surveilance servers will be connected to distrbution switches only, the data will not pass from core switches at all.

In order to create IRF on 5820x switches do i need to enable Spanning Tree on the 2530 & 5820 switches.

Do 2530 & 5406 switches will see 2 x 5820 switches as a single switch, if yes then shoudl i use LACP to Trunk on configuring.

What effect it will have on spannig tree on 2530 & 5406 switches.

Re: IRF Configurations for 5820 Switches

Just a clarification: what is (or what will be) the function of the direct 10G fiber optic link drawn between the two HP ProCurve 5400zl Switches at core?

Currenty both core switch are interconnect for VRRP,  VRRP is being used for all Vlans for failover, I also have MSTP configured on few switches to share the load on 2 core switches.
