IRF Split Issue

HI Team,

Need Your help in getting the issue resolved as we have 2 HP 5930 Felxi Fabric and we have 4 Forty Gig Ports for IRF between 2 switches connected as straight connectvity. When we reboot one of the slot in the IRF domain.we see both the switches in master and master when switch gets up.We need to reboot both the switches to restore the outage we have faced and after that we have been both switches as master and stack. Please help to guide for any issue with the IRF.The same setup if working with other project we have deployed.

FortyGig 1/0/1---FortyGig 2/0/1

FortyGig 1/0/2---FortyGig 2/0/2

FortyGig 1/0/3---FortyGig 2/0/3

FortyGig 1/0/4---FortyGig 2/0/4.

Below if the configuration of the IRF we have done:

Re: IRF Split Issue

Not sure to understand what exactly is the issue you have described above, what are the display irf link and display mad verbose commands outputs on your IRF?

What is the exact SKU of your Switches? what is (display version) their current software version?

For HPE Community Networking section moderator: this thread should be really moved into Comware based section (Legacy is not the correct place).

Re: IRF Split Issue

Hi Namit!

You only posted a partial config of your IRF setup.  Just searching for the string IRF misses a bunch of important sub commands.  Can you please post the complete configuration of the IRF and port config so we can see what you have going on?

Thanks!
