Hi ! I tried to set up IRF beetwen 2 switchs 5940 in order:
1. plug out IRF physical link
2. configure IRF ID and reboot with the second swicth
3. Shutdown IRF physical port and add them into IRF link
4. Plug in physical link
5. active IRF configuration on each switch
2 switchs are same OS version
The problem is when i show IRF topology, the IRF link is down although physical link is up. I reboot switches several times but no luck. Cloud somebody help me to solve this problem
Here is what i show

SolutionTwo IRF members scenario: on IRF 1st member the IRF port 1 must always be connected to IRF port 2 of IRF 2nd member, on IRF 2nd member the IRF port 1 must always be connected to IRF port 2 of 1st IRF member.
