Implementing Windows DHCP Server Multiple Scope on Multiple VLANs

Good day,

Kinldy please help me on implementing my Windows DHCP Server on multiple vlans.

Hope this details may help!

Switch is HP 5500 EI

VLAN 100 - 192.168.100.0/24

VLAN 101 - 192.168.101.0/24

Windows DHCP Server - 192.168.100.108 - under VLAN 100

Scope 1 - 192.168.100.184-192.168.100.184 for testing purposes (Client on VLAN 100 can acquire IP from this Pool)

Scope 2 - 192.168.101.100-192.168.101.110 Client under VLAN 101 can't acquire IP from this Pool.

I have config on my Switch:

dhcp relay server-group 0 ip 192.168.100.108

udp-helper enable

[Vlan-interface101] dhcp select relay

[Vlan-interface101] dhcp relay server-select 0

Re: Implementing Windows DHCP Server Multiple Scope on Multiple VLANs

Hi,

I assume your dhcp server has been set up correctly for vlan 101? Are you sure about this?

You also need to enter the "dhcp enable" command under system-view, I don't see this in your config.

regards,

Philippe
