MAC authentication on ProCurve Switch 2626 (J4900B) and reauthenticate printer LaserJet P4014
MAC authentication on ProCurve Switch 2626 (J4900B) and reauthenticate printer LaserJet P4014
I have configured ProCurve switch 2626 (J4900B) with radius mac authentication.
radius-server host 10.10.10.1 key secretkey
aaa port-access mac-based 7
aaa port-access mac-based 7 addr-limit 2
aaa port-access 7 controlled-direction in
When turn on printer LaserJet P4014dn on port 7 device is authenticated correctly.
HP 012(config)# show port-access 7 mac-based
Port Access MAC-Based Status
Authenticated Unauthenticated Current
Port Clients Clients VLAN ID
---- ------------- --------------- --------
7 1 0 1
After logoff-period (default 300) is printer not available. Reauthentication not work.
HP 012(config)# show port-access 7 mac-based
Port Access MAC-Based Status
Authenticated Unauthenticated Current
Port Clients Clients VLAN ID
---- ------------- --------------- --------
7 0 0 0
Only when the printer is turn off and next turn on again is authenticated correctly and available.
The command:
aaa port-access mac-based 7 reauthenticate
not authenticate printer again.
What is my mistake?
