Mirroring - Port SWITCH 5120 only view traffic one way
I have this mirroring group:
# mirroring group 1
# Type: local
# status: active
# mirroring port:
GigabitEthernet 1/0/2 both
# monitor port : GigabitEthernet 1/0/25
I have a PC connected to 1/0/2 VLAN 110
I have other PC connected to other interface VLAN 110
I have a IDS connected to monitor port but y only view one way. Only traffic in one way (from PC 1/0/2 to switch) but i dont see traffic from switch to outbound to the PC. If i do a PING from PC to PC i only view echo request in the IDS but not reply traffic.
My configuration is:
#interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/25
stp disable
mirroring group 1 monitor-port
#interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/2
port access vlan 110
mirroring-group 1 mirroring-port both
Any idea suggestion ? Thnx

Re: Mirroring - Port SWITCH 5120 only view traffic one way
Hi !
I believe that your configuration is correct. What is the switch firmware version?
