PoE getting disabled on HP5500 series switch

Hi,

When I am connecting my CCTV cams to my HP 5500 JG542A switch it does not get powered on. I am getting the following message on console.

[CIT-CLIB-GF-R1-48G-Sw-02]

GigabitEthernet1/0/4: Port poe off:budget exceed ,rawstatus=0x20.

can anyone help me with the issue?

Bipin,

What version of Comware are you running... the Rxxxx number?  Also, if you do a display poe pse, please share that output so that we can see what PSE code you have running.

What kind of cameras are you running?  Do you know their PoE class?

Also, can you post the output from the display poe interface command?

Thanks!

Re: PoE getting disabled on HP5500 series switch

I've similar issue, where I've two switches HP 5500-48G-PoE+-4SFP HI (one is older, and one is newer one)

Where old switch running (CPDVer=003,  PSE=v260)is able to provide PoE to IP Phone (Mitel 5320). But the newer switch (CPDVer=005, PSE=265) not. And it throws the error:
