Policy Based Routing on H3C S7506E Switch
Policy Based Routing on H3C S7506E Switch
Hi,
I would like to configure some Policy Based Routing on my Core switch. But unfortunately I cant get proper documentation on this from the web.Since I am new to HP I am not clear on the meaning of the syntax mentioned on most exmaples I got from internet.
My requirement is pretty basic.
If the traffic is coming from source address - 192.168.10.10/32 or from 192.168.110.0/24 then it should be re-routed to 10.10.10.10. All other traffic should go to 172.16.16.16 which has been already being configured as a static route using the command "ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.16.16".
Please help.

Re: Policy Based Routing on H3C S7506E Switch
Hi,
manuals for the 7500 can be found here:
The PBR is explained in the IP Routing chapter:
There are several config examples included (make take note of the difference between host traffic (traffic from switch itself) and user traffic (coming in on routed/vlan interfaces), the last one is what you need)
Hope this helps,
Best regards,Peter.
