Problem after a firmware upgrade
Bonsoir All,
I have a weird problem with 3 switchs A5500 (JG311A) after an upgrade.
I did the next steps :
- tftp ;
- bootrom update file A5500HI-CMW520-R5501P25.bin slot ;
- copy a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin slot2#flash:/ ;
- copy a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin slot3#flash:/ ;
- boot-loader file A5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin slot all main ;
- reboot slot 3 (or reboot slot 2 or reboot slot 1, same problem).
then agfter reboot, I saw this message : "System is busy in recovering configuration, please wait a moment"
then I type "display boot-loader", I get these :
<sw-mop-irf>display boot-loader
Slot 2
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/
Slot 1
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5206.bin
Slot 3
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p25.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/
And after the error message :
<sw-mop-irf>display boot-loader
Slot 2
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/
Slot 1
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5206.bin
Slot 3
The current boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The main boot app is: flash:/a5500hi-cmw520-r5501p21.bin
The backup boot app is: flash:/
Someone can help me ? :)
Best regards,
Jacques

Re: Problem after a firmware upgrade
Hello
Can u give all the boot message info?
If it is a stack of 3 switches, try to shutdown all of them at the same time.
Or try a lower software version to see if you have the same problem.
Kind regards
