RRPP limitation?
I am desinging an RRPP topology.
I need to know the limitation about RRPP.
Can someone can tell me that what is the maximum units in a primary ring?
What is the maximum units in a sub rings?
How many sub rings can be in a domain?
What is the maximum units in an RRPP domain?
If I have IRF stacking in RRPP domain, should it be one unit or two?
Thanks,

Re: RRPP limitation?
I believe that RRPP has no real max in the number of units in a ring. I saw implementations of 20+ devices. The number of subrings are related to the platform. 8 or 16 (Comware 5). Need to check what the numbers are for Comware7 devices (RRPP is available from R2416 on 5900AF). RRPP works fine in IRF configs of 2 units. I don't know if it makes sense to have larger IRF configuration in combination with RRPP.
