Setting up VLans and IP interfaces
OK this is probably a stupid question but I am fairly new at setting up these switches so I am going to ask anyways. Here's the situation. I have a 5500G that is my core switch. I will have twelve 2952's and 2928's in my network ( I am replacing some old Dell switches). I will have six VLAN's. My question is what do I set as the VLAN interface on each of the switches? For instances. If switch A has the IP interface for VLAN 20 set at 172.16.20.1, would all the switches share that IP for VLAN 1 or would each switch have a unique IP for each VLAN interface?
Thanks in advance for your help with this.
Tony
