Hi there,
I have noticed that when I am saving config in a stack that Slot 4 fails "Validating file. Please wait...
Saved the current configuration to mainboard device successfully.
Slot 2:

Slot 3:

Slot 4:
Save next configuration file failed.
Failed to save the current configuration"
I have noticed from below output that slot 4 is missing sections in directory;

Re: Slot 4 Save next configuration file failed
Hello,
What is the 'display irf' output?
I am not seeing 'startup.cfg' in slot 4 flash.
Anything was deleted recently?
Please check recycle-bin, what is inside that?
Also console to slot 4 and try to 'save force' from there.
Thanks!

Can you console slot 4 and try to save config from there? If you will get error from there then there might be issue wih slot 4 hardware.
Check recycle-bin of slot 4.
Thanks!

Re: Slot 4 Save next configuration file failed
Hello,
What is the software version on device?
What are you seeing into logbuffer?
Can you extract diagfile.log and logfile.log from slot4 flash?
Steps to collect:
Console slot 4 and go to directory:
1. cd diagfile2. <hpe>logfile save
3. <HPE>diagnostic-logfile save
4. <HPE>cd diagfile
5. <HPE>more <file name> -->Log the session
6. <HPE>cd ..
7. <HPE>cd logfile
8. <HPE>more <file name> -->Log the session
Thanks!
