Some questions regarding IRF

I have a pair of A5120 switches with which I have setup an IRF link

 

I tried configuring MAD BFD, but that did not work.
It would seem that this is not supported on the A5120 is this correct?

 

As alternative I have setup MAD ARP but I still don't really know if this works like it should.
What would be the best way to test this?

Hi,

 

Check this link to configure IRF on A5120

To test this, just break the IRF links. The ports and interface-vlans should be down  'dis int brief".
