Spanning-tree Procurve vs Comware
Hi,
I have been given the task of transfering some of our connections from a procurve switch to a comware based one.
Im trying to figure out the Spanning-tree equivilent in comware for these commands/settings:
BPDU-Filter and BDPU-Protection
In comware I have:
Enable BPDU interception
Broadcast suppression
Loop-protection
Root-Protection
RoleRestrict
TcRestrict
What do I need to set on the port to enable STP but have BDPU-filter?
On this port we have a connection to another site that acts as our ISP and we have a straight fiber connection to them. But I dont want their switch to be a part of our STP-domain.
Many thanks
p.s. we are running RSTP on both devices

Re: Spanning-tree Procurve vs Comware
Hi,
bpdu-protection is available for all STP Edge ports.
1. First enable stp edge port inside the interface
stp edge enable
2. Then enable global BPDU-Protechion
stp bpdu-protection
Thanks!

Re: Spanning-tree Procurve vs Comware

Thank You !

Re: Spanning-tree Procurve vs Comware
Thank you for your answer but I dont see how that answers my question.
There is a difference between BPDU-protection and BPDU-filter.
I get how I enable BPDU-protection on a port, but How do I enable BPDU-filter?

Re: Spanning-tree Procurve vs Comware
Hi,
As I know there is no direct command available for BPDU Filter in comware.
If you want to filter BPDU then you need ACL to filter BPDU.
For more kindly log a case with support.
Thank You!
