Switch 5120 24-G differences

Hi, I would like to know the diference between Hp switch 5120 models.  Really the difference between HP references JG068A and JG245A

Many thanks.-

Re: Switch 5120 24-G differences

One (JG068A) isn't  declared "TAA-Compliant" and the other one (JG245A) is...so HP/HPE declared that the JG245A is produced in compliance with the Trade Agreement Act of 1979 (TAA).

What this really means to me I really don't know (I'm not an US's Citizen, I don't work for US Government or for a Government's Contractor).

From the technical PoW it seems both Hardware are (or look) exactly the same and that a TAA-Compliant System Image (with respect to the standard one) can be chosen since it is available for both models (JG068A and JG245A).

As example both models can upload the System Image 5120.EI-4210G-4510G_5.20.R2221P25 or the 5120.EI-4210G-4510G_5.20.R2221P18-US (TAA Compliant): that US means "Software built in United States"; don't know if this sort of declaration applies also to the JG245's Hardware/Manufactoring Processes or not.

Ok, that reply is enough to me.

Many thanks.-
