Re: Transceivers Technical difference

I wasn't able to find a definitive answer (EEPROM coding ? presence of Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface DDMI?) but we already discussed about your same question (DC/non DC marked Transceivers) here.

Re: Transceivers Technical difference

If with "None-DC trancivers" you mean the JD092B (HPE X130 10G SFP+ LC SR Transceiver) the answer is Yes: the JD092B is supported on HPE FlexFabric 5700 Switch's SFP+ ports as stated on switch series QuickSpecs.

Re: Transceivers Technical difference

If Customer is asking for "JL437A" and this P/N is not available; So, can we proposed "JD092B"

This transceivers are going to be used in JH395A HPE FF 5940 Switch.

Re: Transceivers Technical difference

Yes, you can safely offer the 10Gbps SFP+ LC SR Transceiver with SKU JD092B to your customer.

I think the JL437A SKU was only recently removed (among others) since it was prematurely obsoleted by HPE (looking at QuickSpecs history...you can discover that it was added on March 2017...and two years later, on latest September 2019's QuickSpecs reports "Obsolete SKUs were removed."...and JL437A SKU is among them).

Check yourself here (you can move between editions)
