Trapbuffer error on 3com 4200G

Hi,

My SW 3com 4200G spamming on command line this "log" messages:

#Apr  2 00:33:19:953 2000 SW02LA07 MSTP/2/LGEXP:- 1 -1.3.6.1.2.1.17.0.1(newRoot): I am the root of instance 0 now!
#Apr  2 00:33:21:953 2000 SW02LA07 MSTP/2/LGEXP:- 1 -1.3.6.1.2.1.17.0.1(newRoot): I am the root of instance 0 now!
#Apr  2 00:33:23:954 2000 SW02LA07 MSTP/2/LGEXP:- 1 -1.3.6.1.2.1.17.0.1(newRoot): I am the root of instance 0 now!

I tryed to use some commands, but without success.

- reset trapbuffer

- reset loguffer

I can not run any commands that way. How can I fix this?

hi everyone,

After more research and attempts, I found a way to disable the terminal trapping messages. He must have been activated with the terminal trapping command.

Because a lot of messages are appearing all the time on the screen, I had to copy the command undo terminal trapping and give some <ENTER> to get the paste command. After that, everything ok.
