Use https on A5120
Hello,
I have a new HP A5120-48G EI Switch (Software Version 5.20 Release 2208P01).
I have access via terminal, telnet, ssh and http.
Now I would like to have access via https. I have tried to set up https - but it does not work.
In the Configuration Guide, there is an example in which a ca root server will be used. But I don't have here a ca root server.
Does anyone have a configuration example for https-access?
regards
falk

Re: Use https on A5120
hello,
My answer may be late ...
Add this command: "ip https enable" if you did not already.

Re: Use https on A5120
Hi all
Only "ip https enable" will not work with this release. You need a external CA, witch signs your certificate ... but that's hell.
Since release 2220 the switch uses a selfsigned cert by default and you could only hit "ip https enable" into the console.
