can different models SW 5500 EI of 3com form stack?
Hi,
I have 2 SW 5500EI, 3com product.
Switch 5500-EI PWR 28-Port
Switch 5500-EI 52-Port
Can I stack them?
I tried the procedure to form XRN-fabric, it doesn't work, however when I use the same model, the procedure works. (Surely the version etc are the same.)
Can someone tell me if different models in the same family can be stacked?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to Comware-Based. -HP Forum Moderator

Re: can different models SW 5500 EI of Com form stack?
Yes, they can, and furthermore the 5500-SI can be stacked with the 5500-EI as the firmware was unified so that SI modes got the EI feature set.
