cluster 4200g
Hi guys
I have 3 units 3com 4200G. Every switch has own IP address.
I'd like cluster all those switches to one management IP.
first switch has 192.168.1.10
I try do cluster by web-interface, at the moment switch is candidate and on
Cluster -> Cluster(setup)
mark Build a cluster and to be commander
set up cluster name
IP Pool (Commander IP) 192.168.1.10
Mask of IP Pool: 255.255.255.0
and I received message: Can not add cluster private IP address or stack primary IP address to vlan interface.
everything is on vlan 1
thanks for help guys

Re: cluster 4200g
I think the IP Pool addresses have to be a seperate unused subnet from the IP address used to connect to the cluster commander.
