how many 5m XRN cables can hold the stack ?
we are running many XRN fabrics, and one of them 3 cables of 5m
5500G-EI <---- very long distance----> couple of 5500G-EI <--------very long distance ----> 5500G-EI
XRN doesn't work (it is split to 2 separate fabrics), the diagnostic is:
<5500G-EI>display ftm information
FTM State : HB STATE
Unit ID : 2 (FTM-Slave)
Fabric Type : Line
Fabric Auth : NONE
Left Port : Isolated (connection error)
Right Port : Normal
Advertise : Send = 24, Receive = 51
Advertise ACK : Send = 46, Receive = 3
Heart Beat : Send = 0, Receive = 71
Left Check : Send = 5474, Receive = 183
Right Check : Send = 527930, Receive = 527421
Auto update : Send = 0, Receive = 0
Left Port : Index = 7, IsEdge = 0
Right Port : Index = 5, IsEdge = 0
Units Num Left : 1
Units Num Right : 3
Units Num Backup: 3
<5500G-EI>
and
<5500G-EI>display ftm information
FTM State : HB STATE
Unit ID : 5 (FTM-Master)
Fabric Auth : NONE
Left Port : Isolated (connection error)
Right Port : Isolated (connection error)
Advertise : Send = 0, Receive = 0
Advertise ACK : Send = 0, Receive = 0
Heart Beat : Send = 0, Receive = 0
Left Check : Send = 5281, Receive = 0
Right Check : Send = 5281, Receive = 0
Auto update : Send = 0, Receive = 0
Left Port : Index = 7, IsEdge = 0
Right Port : Index = 5, IsEdge = 0
Units Num Left : 1
Units Num Right : 1
Units Num Backup: 1

Re: how many 5m XRN cables can hold the stack ?
You display FTMs of two switches. Which two of four are they exactly?

Re: how many 5m XRN cables can hold the stack ?
well, I configured IP address for the fabric itself (for both fabrics), connected to that address and typed a command.

Re: how many 5m XRN cables can hold the stack ?
well, as it shows me "unit 2 login" and "unit 4 login", so
unit1 <----- 5m ------> (unit2 + unit5) <----- 5m-------> unit4
I'm not sure about order, it could be either unit2 ---- unit 5 or unit5 ---- unit2
unit5 beleives it is a separate fabric (of single unit).
