I'm looking for in 3com 4200's userguide, how to setup the Rip or the RIPv2 protocol or the OSPF in 4200g Swtich in order to let information exchange beetween this switch and other newtworks appliance.... I'm tried to this informantion in 3com's support, in 3com's forum and over internet, but I couldn't find anythning. Could somebody help me?
Thanks in advance

Re: how to activate RIP on 4200g
I think this switch(4200G) does not support that. This is L3 switch through static routes.
Hope it helps!

Re: how to activate RIP on 4200g
The 4200G only uses Static Routes not RIP or OSPF. Configure a "default" route that points to a device that does RIP/OSPF etc.
