Re: hpe 5700: remove confirmation on default command?
Hi Parnassus,
It's not a big problem and my question might sound a bit strange but here are some thoughts,
1. Cisco doesn't have it and that's a good thing .
2. I know what i'm doing and it's just a single port.
3. When using int range 1/0/1 to 1/0/32 or whatever and then execute default, no questions asked!!! wtf.. This can cause much more problems.
4. As probably many of us, im working in a text editor to prepare my config. When i need to do a lot of changes i always want my interface default before adding new configs. So when i paste the new config with multiple defaults, its breaks the paste action due to the first default questions confirmation. That's a bit annoying.
So it would be nice if this option could be turned off.

Re: hpe 5700: remove confirmation on default command?
I believe as a workaround you can use "int range <interface>".
