ipv6 option drop enable

With release 5500.EI-4800G_5.20.R2221P01 we now have a now command within global system-view:

 

ipv6 option drop enable:

 

"This feature enables a device to discard a received IPv6 packet if the first extension header of the packet
is Hop-by-Hop Options."

 

Wouldn´t it make more sense if we could enable this feature on given single interfaces instead of enabling it globally?

I guess its related to http://6lab.cz/article/bypassing-acl-using-extension-headers/

 

But yeah, would be nice with some granularity... I guess you will have to contact the support to get this additional feature.
