no lights after putting JD119B into HP 5500......

no lights after putting JD119B into HP 5500......

HP 5500-24G (JG241) 

HP X20 (JD119b)

HP 5120-24G (JG236A)

 

We  are    connecting  JG241  to  JG236A  with  gbic  modules  JG119b.  but  no  lights  glow. any  setting  to  be  done  to  configure  JG241  switch  to  enable  JD119B   ????????????pl  help

I think that unlike the Procurve ones, the H3C switches come with switchports "shutdown" by default. Make sure you've done a "no shut" on them first.
