Hi, i am trying to impement the High availibilité using VRRP on HPE 5130 HI Switch layer 3, but the problem is when i want to set the configuration of it, the switch does not recognize the protocol VRRP, there is no commands of VRRP which works, and it is impossible to enable it.
So my question is : does the HPE 5130 support the VRRP
thanks in advance for your help.

Re: "VRRP" is it or is it not supported by HPE 5130 HI Switch ?
IRF is, OTOH, a technological feature that, in some scenarios, help to avoid VRRP approaches...and IRF, when you have certain Comware based switch series, is very well known and broadly implemented.
I'm not an HPE Employee

Re: "VRRP" is it or is it not supported by HPE 5130 HI Switch ?
VRRP is primarily a router resiliancy protocol. 5130's are switches and don't have that support in them.
IRF is a switch resiliancy protocol that makes the stack look and be managed as a single logical device.
They provide some similar capabilities but are very different protcols.

David
