Wireless Controller WX5004 - WPA RADIUS Authentication
Hello,
I'm having problems authenticating clients through WPA/WPA2 and RADIUS.
The setup I have is a Wireless Controller WX5004 and several 8760 Access Points with the FIT firmware.
The wireless network is configured to support both WPA and WPA2 and the authentication is made through a RADIUS server.
The problem is that, most of the times, the wireless clients don't get an IP address, even though, the RADIUS server says that the client is authenticated.
I have tried several types of configuration but I always end up having trouble with this part.
Some computers connect better, others don't even connect at all.
Can somebody help me with this issue?
Thanks is advance,
Hugo Sousa

Re: Wireless Controller WX5004 - WPA RADIUS Authentication
I think is better you choose only one or WPA or WPA2.
I think is better you put the WPA2 using CCMP or only WPA-TKIP.
RSN - CCMP in the configuration.
Thank You.

Re: Wireless Controller WX5004 - WPA RADIUS Authentication
Hey,
Probably the problem with the OS or the wireless card driver.
If you test with Linux, android or any OS apple you note that the problem not happens.

Re: Wireless Controller WX5004 - WPA RADIUS Authentication
Do you tunnel or local switch the data traffic ?
You should verify the VLAN assigned is available at the controller or AP.
802.11n standard is WPA2 AES.
You should use this.
