Account OracleMetalink

Hi,
I need an account for Oracle metalink or a Support Identifier.
Could someone give me one, please?

Re: Account OracleMetalink

If you have the support contract with Oracle then just call to Oracle with your customer number, they'll provide.

Thanks

Re: Account OracleMetalink

You need to purchase a support contract in order to have a Metalink support ID. If you want to access any document or any other details, pls post it and somebody might assist you.

Re: Account OracleMetalink

Hi,

OracleMetaLink is Oracle Support Services' premier web support service. OracleMetaLink is FREE for Oracle customers with current product support contracts. OracleMetaLink leverages the Internet for quick and immediate access to technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. OracleMetaLink allows you to access support whenever and wherever you need.

Hence, if you do have such a support, you should claim for your account.

Normally, if you have your CSI number, you can create one.

You can then register at this address:
http://metalink.oracle.com/register/pls/registration.step_1

If you need any further clarifications, please let us know.

Cheers

Re: Account OracleMetalink

Hi,

the second best choice, if you do not have metalink for contract reasons, register for http://otn.oracle.com

I was able to choose my ITRC-ID as an account, so this is quite nices. Access to a whole lot of documents including http://docs.oracle.com.

Registration is free, and I got a free Subscription of an Oracle Magazine included when I registererd (quite a while ago, do not know if they still provide it).

Hope this helps a bit, although it will not beat METALINK.
