BrightStor problem with Oracle 9.2.0

Hi All,

I have 2 instances on unix box 11.11, cc1 and cc2. I trying to use BrightStor oracle agent to backup it, but only cc1 is ok.

when I chose cc2 icon on manager, i get the error "Failed to conect to the instance".

Hi Vogra,

Do you have the listener up in cc2 server?

$lsnrctl status

If you don't know the listener name, see it in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora

Hi,

Try use $ORACLE_HOME/bin/tnsping for test your connection.

If you can use successfull this command, then tre problem is about configure your BrightStor agent.
