if it is plain text, you can inport in in Excel and then export in DBF.

As Massimo said above if your file is in plain text, one easy way is to import it in excel and conver to DBF format.
Is it a once-off task? Can it be done manually or to you want to automate it?
If the latter, you will have to write a procedure in foxpro to import the text file.
