How do I configure and start listener in oracle 9i in HP UX. ?

Start your Net Configuraton Assistant.
Top on list should be Listener Configuration.

$ORACLE_HOME/bin .

Hi,

netca command

or edit files:

$ORALCE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora
$ORALCE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

start listener:
lsnrctl start
