Connect SQL 2000 Server with HP-UX10.20

I'm just an starter on HP-UX, but pretty familiar with SQL and Windows environment, so I need to knowif there is some way to make a connection to SQL server, I'm using an ICT Tester HP3070, which uses a HP9000 server with HP-UX 10.20. Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks.

You need to purchase a third party product.

Openlink is one-

Merant (formerly Intersolv) had a product at one time, but I don't see it at their web site.

There is also a package by easysoft to bridge unix to ms.

There is also an ODBC driver by Datadirect as well.

The reverse (SQL Server to Oracle) can be done with NT Oracle ODBC drivers.

Which of those products you recommend me, is the JDBC the one I need?

Do you know if there is some example about how to use it?

Thanks in advance.

hi,

go to:
http://technet.oracle.com/docs/products/oracle8i/doc_library/817_doc/server.817/a76960/hs_genco.htm#173

for a much detailed explanation how to set this up.

If you need any further information, please let us know.
