DB2 Size Limitation

Hi There,

Can someone provide me the link/url regarding DB2 limitations when it comes to size (database, datafiles, tablespace)? I want to check if 8TB DB2 database maximum size limitation is really true. How can I address these limitations?

Hope someone can enlighten me on these concerns.

Hello,

You should be able to find these values in the
SQL Limits appendix in the SQL Reference
manual for your version and platform.

And the answers depend on the page size limits, O/S version and so on.

The manuals for all but the oldest versions of DB2 are available on-line on the IBM website.

For example, DB2 v 9.5 is here:

Go to "Database Fundamentals" and then
expand menu "SQL"...
