DBMS ALERTS

How are DBMS ALERTS of Oracle 7.3 implemented on HPUX 11.0?
Can anyone give the implementation details?

Well - it is my understanding that Oracle 7.3 is not supported on the HPUX 11.0 operating system.
You probably need to upgrade from 7.3 to 8.0.5 or higher.

Hi there.
Oracle RDBMS 7.x.x is not supported on HP-UX 11 of any version. Either downgrade your OS to 10.20 or upgrade your database at least to 8.1.6

To be specific I have Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.3.4.1 is running on HPUX release level B.11.0

Anyway I'll make the question a little general.
How are DBMS ALERTS of Oracle 7.3 implemented on HPUX OS?
