DTCConfig
I recently replaced a Cisco 3640 router with a Layer 3 switch/router.Although all my DTC Servers are able to download there from the HP 9000 UX Network Manager which is on a different segment than the DTC`s themselves,I now cant login to any of the DTC`s to change some ports from T to P.....
I have the IP Helper-Address assighned to the correct Interfaces, but still no joy.!!!Any clues......!!!!!!
Thanks.

Would anybody know why i can`t login to my dtc servers using dtcconfig, even though all dumb terminals are loging in OK,and the DTC`s are recieving their downloads OK.

Re: DTCConfig
Glen, I've seen this before, but not with Cisco products. We were using an NT box to route, and ran into issues. It turned out to be something to do with the gateway itself.
Can you ping the DTC from the HP or any device NOT on the subnet of the DTC?
If NOT, you may need to add a new route from the HP to the DTC, making sure the metrics are correct.
Let me know if this helps, or points you in the right direction
