Could someone please tell is there any command to know how many disk array is available in HP-UX11i

you can also get that information from SAM.

SAM -> Disks and File Systems -> Disk Devices

You can display with:

ioscan -fnC disk ,

SAM -> Disks and File Systems -> Disk Devices

armdiscover

or
arraydsp -d

# arraydsp is a good command. Check out the man page of arraydsp to get more information.

# ioscan -fnC disk also helps.

hmm. just issue
#ioscan -fnC disk
all disk in claim status are in good condition and is disk array or LUN of VA (virtual Array)
HP is simple

If by chance the array in discussion here is a XP Storage Disk Array than a detailed information about all LUNs will be provided by

#xpinfo -i
