## System rp74xx, 4G, 4CPU , 11.11 with Jun 2003 Support bundles loaded ###
### Problem Description: ###
I am upgrading my database from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.3. I have already installed
the software for 9.2.0.1 and am trying to install the patch for 9.2.0.3. I
recieve the above error during the "Linking Oracle interMedia Locator Patch
9.2.0.3.0". I have installed this patch already on 7 servers with similar,
if not exact, configurations and have not had this problem before.

Hi,
problem will be in kernel parameters,
set the kernel values as required by oracle 9i rel 2
refer oracle documentation at otn site

What errors you have in make.log
General things to note is that
check the ulimit -a
check the memory and swap usage.
check for the proper OS patches
