Simpler Navigation coming for Servers and Operating Systems
Coming soon: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We will combine many of the older boards, and you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. If you are looking for an older board and do not find it, check the consolidated boards, as the posts are still there.

Re: HBA Information

Some of the information is going to come from I/O scan in the product description while for some HBA's, like fc adapter's, you'll have to look in swlist.

swlist -l product

Note the version will be something like B.11.00.15 for product A5158a. The version is the HBA firmware there is no BIOS.

Re: HBA Information

Donny,

Use swlist to get the patch info. You should see something like this:

FibrChanl-00 B.11.11.09 PCI/HSC FibreChannel;Supptd HW=A6684A,A6685A,A5158A,A6795A

The latest patch for the tachyon HBA is PHKL_27751.

You can use xstm (or stm for the non-graphical version) to get the model and serial numbers of the HBAs.
