HSC 1000BASE SX LAN ADAPTER

We are trying to install an A4924A NIC in our K450 box. We are using HPUX 11.0. The system claims it but that is about as far as I can go. We have installed all the very latest patches and card drivers. We have tried different cards with the same results. Anybody got any magic tricks?? Will this card work in a K450???

Yes, it is supported on a K class.

(driver is gelan). Software is;
J1642AA B.10.20.11 HP PCI/HSC Gigabit Ethernet Driver

and the config file is;
/etc/rc.config.d/hpgelanconf

They dont run at full speed though, the bus on the K is too slow.
