How to set up 2 GB of RAM for tempdb in Sybase
Hi,
We are running 11i and Sybase 12.0 and would like to find out that there is a way to configure 2GB of RAM as the tempdb. Any help or anywhere to find the documents appreciated. Thanks.
Best regards,
Kelvin

Re: How to set up 2 GB of RAM for tempdb in Sybase
Hi,
I am not sure, if I get you right. You should create with disk init a device file with 2gb and then extend it with alter database. Both commands you can see here:

greetings,
Michael
