How to setup OMS on Oracle 10g?
Hi,
On Oracle 9i, I have ever installed Oracle server & OMS. However, it is so different on Oracle 10g. When I install Oracle 10g, it doesn't have an option to install OMS. How can I do? I want to use OMS to monitor all Oracle severs.
Thanks
Eric

Re: How to setup OMS on Oracle 10g?
Eric,
I am sure Oracle experts will answer in more detail, but I believe OMS is now classed as a OC4J application on AS 10g. So with the EM10g install the AS 10g section should allow you to configure the OMS under OC4J.
Have you tried http://metalink.oracle.com/ ?
Regards

if it is not installed, you should the error message as follows:
$ emctl status oms
