Import of Oracle Applications (eBusinesSuite 11) database failed
Site Details:
O.S. : HP-UX 11 (64-bit)
Database exported on Oracle 8.1.6.1.0 (32 bits)
Want to import in Oracle 8.1.7.2.0 (64 bits)
Problem Description:
In order to run Oracle Applications database on 64 bits, I did the following:
1. Full export.
2. Created a new database with SYS schema ok.
3. Imported the database.
The import process keeps failing (after running for 11 hours) at the following point :
. . importing table "AQ$_IEU_LNA_AQTAB_DEFAULT_S" 1 rows imported
IMP-00060: Warning: Skipping table "IEU"."IEU_CCI_ACT_APPDATA_QTAB" because object type "SYSTEM"."IEU_CCI_ACT_APPDATA_OBJ" does not exist or has different identifier
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 3114 encountered
ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
IEU_CCI_ACT_APPDATA_OBJ is an Object Type (see first lines of attach.txt). After import of SYSTEM objects, it seems to be unvalid !
See attached, dump file generated during import (second part of attach.txt).
Is there any workaround for this import problem?
