Internet Security V1.0.3

I have downloaded the HP-UX Benchmark V1.0.3. This documents has a series of enhancements to the OS to make it secure. Well in the process, I now fail to get Oracle (8.0.5) started. Essentially when the server manager is run, and the commnad "connect internal" is issued I was able to get in, and now I am failing to get connected. Proir to these changes the database was working fine, so I am suspecting that I have inadverently change something that I should not have. Any help is appreciated.
